Improving the services offered by Mohamed Aden Sheikh Teaching Hospital (MASTH), Somaliland, Somalia.
The general objective of the project is to help improve the quality of the paediatric health services offered to the population in the Hargeisa area and reduce their vulnerability.
The specific objective of this project is: to improve the effectiveness of the services offered at the Mohamed Aden Sheikh Teaching Hospital (MASTH) through the creation of a microbiology laboratory that can identify detectable pathologies; to streamline and simplify access to the hospital by creating small structural works in the outdoor waiting areas to provide waiting patients with shelter from the sun and rain and to improve the hygiene levels of the entire structure; to cut service management costs by reducing dependency on private electricity suppliers through the creation of a photovoltaic system.
