MAIN SECTORS OF ACTIVITY
Technical assistance with decentralisation, governance and local development
General objective: To contribute to the promotion of active, effective and responsible participation by the actors of the City-Province of Kinshasa in the process of effective and sustainable development of their local organisations.
Specific objective 1: By 2014, to have facilitated dialogue between local authorities and civil society organisations (CSOs) of the 7 municipalities in Funa district, City of Kinshasa, to develop
organisational and technical skills for participatory governance and the sustainable and effective development of their municipalities of residence.
Specific Objective 2: By 2014, to facilitate cooperation between local authorities and CSOs from the 7 municipalities of Funa district to promote civil mechanisms for participation in the three areas of decision-making, financing and monitoring of local development initiatives.
