MAIN SECTORS OF ACTIVITY
Protection of children, education, vocational training, exchange, food security, children's rights, combating exploitation and trafficking. Rights of disabled persons
The purpose of this activity is to reduce the risk of exploitation of children, clearly aggravated by the present situation of crisis, with families incomplete or abandoned, through human and vocational training. In addition, the basic preventive measures to counter trafficking and exploitation consist in strengthening decentralised coordination initiatives and activities to help children and increasing child traceability through the creation of a database.
The project is implemented through the training of local operators, sharing of technical knowledge, direct support, including food, for child shelters and protection centres, the creation of pilot schemes for vocational training and job placement, together with the construction of a "Transit Centre" for children in conflict with the law or awaiting trial, and the refurbishment of four structures known as "Drop in Centre" for their protection and training, as well as a process for improving the rights of handicapped persons.
