AWARENESS AND INFORMATION

Thanks to the financial contribution of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Waldensian Church (Union of Methodist and Waldensian Churches), PCN has improved  the availability of water and the food it helps to produce, in seven rural communities in Burkina Faso, in order to reduce the morbidity related to the insufficient and poor quality of water and food currently available. Thanks to digging of water wells, water is available to seven villages with 6.700 inhabitants (Toogiin 450 people, Bolé 500 people, Nioussi-Tangaye 350 people, Songa 1.670 people, Dambreguesse 578 people, Koumma Yargo 2.480 people and Bouli 762 people), continuously for 12 months a year, enabling four villages to access to safe water and three villages to improve the agricultural productions and, consequently, food security.
