With cofinancing from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers PCN is developing an intervention to increase food security and alleviate poverty in the Region of Ayacucho, and in particular the 36 rural communities of the district of Los Morochucos, in the Province of Cangall. The project promote a higher level of food security and income in the area of faming and herding for the indigenous population, through the use of technical services provided by a local NGO with several years of experience of a working method known as "farmer to farmer".
With a contribution of the Region of Piedmont PCN implemented a pilot scheme for two irrigations systems, one drop-by-drop and the other with sprinklers, in two communities in order to provide two different types of technical innovation compatible with local resources, and the necessary assistance with the organisation and management of the systems and production. This is part of a process of awareness and knowledge aimed at the establishment of a cooperation agreement between the Province of Cangallo and the mountain community of Valli Orco and Soana.
