AWARENESS AND INFORMATION
Persone Come Noi provide housing and education for 500 orphaned street children. The project is aimed at ensuring the construction of an accommodation and schooling facility called the “St. Clare Centre”, in Meru, Kenya, for 500 orphaned children who lost their parents to AIDS. It is intended to provide sustainable housing and education through the involvement of the local authorities and the support of Cooperazione Decentrata in Piedmont.
PCN works in Kenya to contribute to food security, both through the implementation of a farming system with drip irrigation, and by increasing pig and fish breeding for home consumption and marketing of the surplus, with the aim of making these activities sustainable.
